Carbon-filled TeflonTM labyrinth oil seals prevent contamination of lubricant, the primary cause of premature bearing failure (patented design). Lower oil operating temperatures 10? F. Increase L10 bearing life 50% to 100%.
Increased oil sump capacity for 15% increased L10 bearing life. The oil sump size has been increased 3 times to provide better heat transfer for more effective oil cooling. (Sumps are 3 times larger than competitors). Bearings run cooler and last longer. Oil operating temperature is reduced another 10%.
One-inch bulls eye sight glass assures proper oil level that is critical to bearing life.
Rigid frame foot -- 25% improved L10 bearing life reduces effects of pipe loads on shaft
alignment. Bearing life increased 25%, pump vibration reduced and oil operating temperatures reduced another 10? F.
C-face mounting flange supports ANSI coupling guard or optional C-face motor adaptor.
Lubrication flexibility -- X-Series power ends are pre-drilled for easy field conversion (flood oil to oil mist back to flood oil lubrication). Grease lubrication is also easily accommodated.
